Our Manufacturing Facility

Enexio’s ALEX Tube Bundle is manufactured in India and has been supplied to all leading power projects, embodying a single-row, flat-shaped steel tube design with continuous aluminium cladding and finned aluminium elements metallurgically bonded via precision brazing. Each tube is formed by tube milling from high-grade steel and aluminium-alloy strips into profile, providing a wide contact surface for heat transfer and long-term corrosion resistance. The fins are simple straight-profile aluminium strips — and are uniformly brazed along their full length to the tube’s aluminium-clad faces, ensuring 100 % fin-to-tube adhesion and an unbroken thermal path that maximizes condensation performance under cyclic loads.

The critical brazing process technology employed at Enexio’s ISO-certified Chennai facility guarantees full-penetration metallurgical bonds between fins and tubes, delivering high mechanical strength, superior corrosion resistance, and lifelong joint integrity. Flat tubes welded to robust tube sheets form single-pass heat exchangers with leak-proof end connections, simplifying steam inlet and condensate collection arrangements and reducing potential leak points.

Thermal performance is optimized through finite-element–validated fin geometry that balances extensive surface area with minimal air-side pressure drop, enabling consistent heat rejection even at low temperature differentials and reducing fan power consumption. The straight-fin design promotes uniform airflow across the bundle face, avoiding “hot spots” and facilitating laminar, parallel flow that enhances overall condensing efficiency.

Structurally, ALEX Bundles are self-supporting and do not require conventional A-Frame steelwork. The aluminium-clad flat-tube and fin assembly weighs less than conventional tube bundles, reducing foundation loads and enabling more compact ACC field layouts without sacrificing mechanical robustness.

Enexio’s manufacturing combines tube-milling, fin-forming and brazing lines with in-house assembly fixtures, ensuring dimensional accuracy. Strategic sourcing of raw materials and efficient inventory management, supports just-in-time production adhering traceability and compliance with international standards.

The robust fin construction also allows for high-pressure water-jet cleaning, extending intervals between maintenance cycles and minimizing downtime and water consumption. Built on an ISO-certified production line, our Trickle Grid Fills feature precision-engineered flute geometries that form ultra-thin water films, maximizing heat transfer even in poor-quality makeup water applications. Our Splash Fills are designed with rugged polypropylene grids to ensure reliable operation under highly polluted or suspended-solids-laden water conditions, simplifying maintenance and minimizing fouling.

Drift Eliminators engineered by Enexio achieve less drift losses, protecting surrounding equipment and environments from carry-over droplets. Our nozzles, available in both Natural and Induced Draft Cooling Towers, deliver uniform water distribution across fill packs, reducing basin overflow and eliminating clogging issues.
